FLUX highlights and creates opportunity for artists living and/or working in Harlem; brings art into the center of the community; creates a positive use for vacant retail locations; and stimulates a vibrant neighborhood merging art, commerce and community.
FLUX provides opportunities for artists living and working in the community to show their work publicly and meet collectors through pop-up art galleries, art installations, special arts events and the Harlem Community Supported Art project (Harlem CSArt)
FLUX creates awareness of the Harlem arts community by developing & promoting arts events including gallery openings, discussions, talks and innovative artistic events.
FLUX contributes to the vitality of the neighborhood by utilizing vacant and underused spaces for artistic ventures and by bringing art into the center of the community.
